Nose wing piercing aftercare. Risks. Safety.

On the day of the procedure, treat FOR the FIRST TIME, then AT LEAST 5 times a day 30 minutes before going outside.
You will need:
1. Cotton pads

2. Cotton swabs

3. Antiseptic: Miramistin or chlorhexidine

Nose Wing Piercing Treatment process:

1. Moisten the cotton pad abundantly and gently attach it to the puncture site from the outside. 2. Twist the second cotton pad into a tight tube and moisten it ABUNDANTLY with antiseptic.

3. Holding the first cotton pad from the outside, CAREFULLY insert the second cotton pad into the nostril.

4. GENTLY soak the channel. The antiseptic should leak into the channel, to do this, squeeze out cotton pads. It can take from 3 to 5 minutes.

5. Moisten the cotton swabs with antiseptic.

6. GENTLY move the jewelry up, remove the accumulated discharge with a cotton swab.

7. GENTLY move the jewelry down, remove the accumulated discharge with a cotton swab.

8. Change the cotton swab, moisten it and repeat the procedure.

This should be done at least 5 times 30 minutes before going outside. With a successful healing after 1 month, you can replace the volume of antiseptic with saline. At the end of the procedure, treat the canal with an antiseptic.

REMEMBER!!!

1. Nose wing piercing heals for at least 2.5 - 3 months. The visibility and feeling of an absolutely healed piercing occurs after 1-2 weeks.

2. Any inflammation and injury will increase the amount of treatment from 5 times to 7-10 times a day.

3. To avoid blowing and dust getting into the piercing site, wear medical masks. 4. Exclude visits to open freshwater reservoirs, swimming pools, baths and saunas throughout the healing of the piercing.

5. During the healing process, it is possible to replace the jewelry with a downsize, but the replacement time depends on the condition of the piercing and the recommendations of your piercing master.

6. You can change the jewelry to a ring or clicker after complete healing and / or not earlier than a month after the last inflammation.
